- Everything included in the Standard License
- LIMITATIONS
- Valid for one (1) specific production or advertisement campaign.
- No resale or standalone distribution of the audio file
GAMING & INTERACTIVE
Indie Game Developers, App Creators, and Software Studios
TA specialized license tailored for the interactive industry. It covers the technical and legal requirements of embedding music into software.
- USAGE RIGHTS
- Integration into Video Games (PC, Console, Mobile, Web).
- Mobile Applications and Software background audio.
- Promotional Trailers and gameplay teasers for the licensed game/app.
- Includes rights for "Interactive Synchronization" (looping, layering).
- LIMITATIONS
- Limited to one (1) Game Title or App (SKU).
- Not for use in TV shows or movies (unless they are trailers for the game).
- Redistribution of music as a standalone soundtrack is usually excluded
Contrary to popular belief, "Royalty-Free" does not mean the music is free of charge. It means that after you pay a one-time licensing fee, you do not have to pay any ongoing royalties or a percentage of your profits to the composer every time the content is viewed or sold.
Yes. All licenses offered on Sonyka Music are non-exclusive. This means that while you have the full right to use the music for your projects, we retains the ownership of the copyright and can license the same track to other creators. If you need an Exclusive License (where you are the only one allowed to use the track), please contact us for a custom quote.
Absolutely. You are allowed to trim, loop, fade, or cut the track to fit the timing of your project. However, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED to remix the music, add vocals to create a new song, or alter the melody to claim it as your own work.
No. You are licensed to use the music as part of a larger project (a video, a game, an ad). You are strictly prohibited from reselling the music files as standalone tracks, including them in music libraries, or distributing them to streaming platforms like Spotify or Apple Music.
The Standard and Extended licenses are for a Single Project (e.g., one specific commercial or one video series). If you need to use the same track across many different unrelated projects, please contact us for an "Unlimited" or "Subscription" arrangement. The Gaming License covers one specific game title (including all its promotional trailers).
If you receive a "Copyright Claim" on YouTube, don't worry—it is not a "Strike." It’s simply an automated system identifying the music. To clear it, just upload your License Certificate (provided with your purchase) through the YouTube dispute process. The claim will be removed, and your monetization will be restored.
